PMA is the usual way to describe a baby still in the neonatal period; corrected age takes over once they pass term-equivalent, and is what growth and development should be plotted against.
Correction applies to infants born before 37 weeks and is conventionally used until about 2–3 years of age, after which chronological age is used.

Post-menstrual age = gestational age at birth + chronological age
Corrected age = chronological age − (40 weeks − gestational age at birth)
